The brief was to provide a modern environment for the treatment of children and teenagers suffering from cancer.
The project involved the construction of a new build two-storey extension and the refurbishment of existing ward accommodation.
The new build extension accommodates paediatric in-patients at ground floor and a dedicated facility for teenagers at first floor level, which is the first of it’s kind in South London. The refurbished ward areas provide day care and outpatients facilities.
